I am an English-to-Brazilian Portuguese linguist and project professional with more than 15 years of experience working across language, education, and professional development.
Throughout my career, I have translated and reviewed more than 15 million words for clients and organizations in fields including technology, engineering, telecommunications, tourism, and corporate training. This experience has given me a strong understanding of quality, workflows, stakeholder communication, and the practical challenges involved in delivering complex language projects.
Over the years, my work has expanded beyond translation into educational and academic project management, professional events, and strategic initiatives. I work across the planning, development, and implementation of projects, coordinating teams and external partners, organizing events, structuring processes, and bringing together people from different areas and backgrounds.
I also moderate panels and discussions at professional events and contribute to initiatives focused on professional development in the translation and language industry.
I currently serve on the Board of Directors of ABRATES, the Brazilian Association of Translators and Interpreters, as First Secretary, working with the Continuing Education and Communications teams.
I enjoy turning ideas into well-structured projects, making processes work better, and connecting people to make things happen.
